We use necessary cookies and, where applicable, consent-based cookies/technologies for comfort, analytics, or security. Necessary cookies are based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; others on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. You can configure your browser to block cookies; some functions may then be limited.
When you contact us via a form, we process the data you submit (e.g., name, email, message) to handle your request and for follow-up. Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
The PetTag tool allows you to enter information about your companion animal (e.g., name, weight, optional flight details). These entries are stored in our database together with a generated identifier and a timestamp.
No personal data of the pet owner (such as name, address, email, IP address) are stored in connection with PetTag entries. As such, the stored data do not relate to an identifiable natural person and are therefore not considered “personal data” under GDPR.
We use these entries solely to provide the PetTag functionality. Data are not shared with third parties.
We use Complianz to manage cookie and consent preferences. Complianz sets cookies (cmplz_*) to remember your choices and logs your consent status. Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (compliance), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (proof of consent), and—where applicable—Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / § 25(1) TTDSG for non-essential cookies.
We use Wordfence (Defiant Inc., USA) to protect our site against malicious traffic. Our site may maintain a connection to Wordfence services so access attempts can be evaluated and blocked. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security); where device access/cookies apply, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. Transfers to the USA are safeguarded (e.g., SCCs).
We use Antispam Bee (pluginkollektiv, EU) to filter spam in comments/forms. Processing is configured privacy-friendly without transmitting personal data to third countries. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in spam prevention).
We use Burst Statistics (by Complianz) for privacy-friendly, first-party website statistics. Data are stored locally on our server; no third-party cookies are set. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in usage analysis) or—where required—consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / § 25(1) TTDSG.
