Flytogether is an advocacy organization, founded in 2021 by Spanish animal activist Sonia Aguado. It is the first global movement supported by an international community and professionals from diverse fields committed to raising awareness about the risks animals face during air travel in order to trigger a worldwide mentality change where they are considered sentient beings and not luggage
We advocate for alternatives to current airline practices—promoting a future where animals no longer travel in the cargo hold, but instead safely and respectfully in the cabin. Our core belief is that animals are sentient beings, not cargo. A future where airports treat them and manage their transport respecting their needs as we do for children.
Our mission goes beyond awareness or business ideas: we are working to transform the international legal framework to ensure that companion animals are recognized and protected as sentient beings. To achieve this, we are establishing direct communication with governments and animal welfare organisations to identify the most efficient legal pathways to bring this cause to parliaments around the world.
